of Ambunti – Dreikikir

Governments and Local Level Governments Section 33 (3) (d) for

activities. This District Plan is part of a process in the effective
and efficient delivery of basic services to the people in the rural
areas and is farmed within the foundations, principles and directions
of the Medium Term Development Strategy 1997- 2001 and the National
Charter for Reconstruction and Development.
During the course of the development of
this plan, positive components of development have been realized.
These include (a) coordinated bottom up planning in the district
came about since 2003, (b) budgeting and expenditures of limited
financial resources on underdeveloped areas have been successful
and (c) and lastly
the lack of realistic and up to date data and information in
the district have been improved.
What is reflected in this document is derived from the hard work
of the Ambunti – Dreikikir
people as they unit as one to see through development taking place
in the district.
